I have a lot of energy all day, my muscle mass is increasing and I am cutting fat here and there.

When did you first start CrossFitting:

February 2014

When did you first start training at CrossFit Prelude:

November 2014

Tell us about you sports; fitness; and/or life background:

I ran track and played soccer in High School. I played in greek sports during college (volleyball, soccer, dodgeball).

What is your “Something Better” that you hope to achieve with CrossFit Prelude:

I just want to achieve a happy heathier body for life.

How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? Take us back to your first WOD… what was it, and how did it feel:

My first WOD…it was a 15 minutes of as many repetitions as possible of push jerks, burpees, and kettlebell swings. I was happy I did not throw up. But it felt so good afterwards I couldn’t wait to come back for more.

My coaches motivate me a lot, that is really important. I just want to strive to be better everyday and I know Crossfit Prelude will help me get there.

What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CrossFit (before/after):

What keeps you coming back.  What motivates and inspires you:

My coaches motivate me a lot, that is really important. I just want to strive to be better everyday and I know Crossfit Prelude will help me get there.

Please share with us any favorite CrossFit Prelude moments:

A couple of my favorite moments were from the holiday party and most recently Chris’s bachelor workout. The togetherness is what I really love, everyone is rooting for each other and it really feels like a family.

Any advice for people just getting started:

Get out there and just do it! Quit saying tomorrow and do it today.
