Rebekah
Coach
Prior to being CrossFit, I was a Cross Country and Track runner at Bridewater College. I found CrossFit as a means to rehabilitate my foot after suffering several stress fractures. CrossFit has helped me quickly adapt to new places with each military move. It’s incredible to be surrounded by like-minded people, in such a supportive environment. Prior to joining the team at Prelude, I was always approached by members and classmates of my former gym who would tell me that I’d make a great coach. Based on their encouragement, I took the plunge and got certified. I will always remain thankful for their motivation and inspiration. I love pushing people to conquer their goals and to be better than they were before they started. I lead by example and believe that my passion for fitness is contagious.
My Training Philosophy:
My philosophy on fitness and athlete development is simple, yet complex. Each person is different and there is no “one size fits all” approach. People are motivated by different things; some people need to be eased in to fitness while others need a more competitive approach. It’s important to instill confidence in clients and members, and encourage them every step of the way. I’m easily approachable, adventurous, and down to earth.
