A couple of years ago I took on a challenge.  I wanted to eat the biggest burger a restaurant offered.  Doing so meant I would win a place on the leaderboard.  I tried, and I failed.  Why you ask?  Because I attempted to take on the entire thing one huge chunk at a time.  I failed because I tried to eat the entire burger.  Reflecting on things, I could have gotten through it if I had taken it one small bite at a time.  The little things matter.  Making progressive steps towards your goals one small step at a time matters.  What matter most in our lives is that we take little progressive steps.  That we make our goals into smaller manageable pieces, and we then use those pieces to build our mountain of success.  I won’t be going back to take on that burger again, but I will be back to making life a little more manageable.
