SMALL GROUP INDIVIDUALIZED TRAINING

Our experience has taught us that the most efficient way to achieve your desired outcome is for you to train in small groups, while providing you with individualized programming within the larger structure of our system.  Our promise to you is that you will not be a number in a CrossFit class containing a sea of 12-20 people.  In order to ensure you have the best learning experience, our CrossFit classes are capped at 8 students.  Along similar lines, we will limit the number of members at CrossFit Prelude to ensure you continuously receive the focused attention required to progress you along your fitness journey.  Currently we have 10 spaces left in our CrossFit group program before we will start accepting potential members on our wait list.

No other CrossFit facility in Richmond, Virginia promises you the small group dedicated attention you receive at our gym.  Our small group structure allows you to interact consistently with your coach before, during, and after training sessions.  Our structure also allows you to receive critical and meaningful feedback on your performance, which in turn results in your ability to safely realize your full individualized potential.  Our goal is not to pack CrossFit Prelude with numbers.  Instead, we are firmly committed to providing you with quality service, rather than focus on the quantity of members in our facility.  Whether you follow our Fitness, Performance, or Competitive track, you will receive the individualized attention to detail that you expect and deserve.  At CrossFit Prelude we strive to give you the best CrossFit experience Richmond has to offer, making us the top choice for private small group exercise.

SCHOOL OF ELITE FITNESS

CrossFit Prelude is a School of Elite Fitness.  We have hand selected a team of medical professionals, individuals who hold degrees in exercise science and other associated disciplines, and former collegiate athletes.  We have learned over the years, that the best method to reduce the risk of injury while doing CrossFit, or any fitness program, is to only increase the intensity of your CrossFit workout after you have consistently demonstrated proper mechanically correct form.  Our goal is not to progress you rapidly for the sake of putting you through a grueling workout.  This is a recipe for disaster, and will likely lead to injury.  Instead, our training is designed to ensure you succeed at all levels, and do so under the careful eye of our experienced coaches.  Just as you would not expect to skip from kindergarten to 12th grade, you will not progress faster than the skill level you have demonstrated to the coaches, or at a level outside of your comfort zone.   Your overall safety is paramount to all other considerations, and at CrossFit Prelude our goal is to keep you injury free, and fit for life.

COACH FOR LIFE

In further support of our vested interest in your fitness learning process, and because of our dedication to small group instruction, you will be assigned a coach to supplement the on the floor instruction you receive during your CrossFit classes.  From the day you become a member of CrossFit Prelude, you are assigned a coach whose duty it is to monitor your progress, assist you with your overall development, and serve as an accountability buddy for your goals.  You will progress at a pace that you and your coach feel is conducive to your overall development, while taking into account your ability to perform movements in a safe and efficient manner.  This process is not replicated anywhere in Richmond!!!
